Wood: I specialize in burls or exotics woods that complement my components. The wood is cut into a rectangular blank based upon the size of the final product and treated to stabilize.
Polymer Clay: Polymer Clay canes are created by combining various colors to create art and are rolled into cylinders at which time they are thinly sliced and place around brass tubes.
Resins: Dyes, resins, and man-made materials are combined into a mold to create a rectangular blank. The molds are than places under pressure to stabilize.
Mixed media – wood and resin: After the wood is cut into rectangular blanks portions of it are carefully out and filled in with dyed resins and then stabilized.”
